I feel in my heart that helping women 50+ with their total wellness is where God is calling me to serve!
Nutrition is so very important and is a key factor in your mental health too!
When our children are grown, we sometimes tend to feel unneeded, like our purpose in life has been fulfilled.
I want other women to know that you are not alone!!! I am just now coming out of that mindset myself!

Heart disease is the #1 cause of death for American women.
Stroke is the #3 cause of death.
Heart-healthy eating is an important way to lower your risk of heart disease and stroke.
For the best heart health, you should choose more fruits, vegetables, and foods with whole grains and healthy protein. You also try to stay away from foods with added sugar, calories, and unhealthy fats.
Here are some very good food choices…
Fruits + vegetables – at least 1/2 your plate should be fruits and vegetables. Fresh is best, never fried.
Whole grains – it’s always best to choose whole grains like
whole wheat/oats, oatmeal, brown or wild rice, whole-grain barley,
Seafood, skinless chicken or turkey, lean meats, beans, eggs, and unsalted nuts. Try to stay away from too much red meat!
